Following the recent decision of the Yoruba national community in Italy (YNCI) last general assembly dated 10/12/2023.

There is a need for an extension of application form to allow flexibility for more eligible candidates willing to participate in the forth coming 2023/2024 national executive (officer’s) election due to the low turn out of candidates.

Notice is hereby given that the electoral committee under the leadership of it chairman, Opafola Olumuyiwa Adetunji and entire crew members has now officially declares the extension of the 2023/2024 candidacy application form open for a maximum duration of one week with no further extension or consideration thereafter.

All aspiring candidates can now visit the the ynci electoral dedicated lDownload application form ) links to download the application and nominations forms which must be duly and carefully completed and signed by both the aspirant and their regional authorised leaders before submission.

All aspiring candidates must be willing to follow all existing electoral due protocols and laid down governing rules regarding electoral process as the extension does not bypass nor going to violates any of the existing laid down laws and procedures of screening and documents verifications.

All aspiring candidates are expected within these period of grace (one week) be ready to submit and presents either the original documents or prove of receipts of any pending documents or payments to the office of the electoral committees via the following official email address ynci2021@gmail.com.

Application fee must be paid to the electoral treasurer and receipt attached with application form as the time of submission. See account details in the downloaded application form 

NB: All candidates must constantly check their emails notification for any emergency messages and notification regarding their application forms and latest updates alerts.

Screening date will be subsequently alerted as soon as possible in order to publicly declare campaign for all screened candidates.

We use this opportunity to inform existing candidates whose documents are or financial responsibilities are yet to be met to kindly take advantage of this grace by meeting up with all submissions within this given grace time.

Regarding candidates as discussed by the general assembly regarding their inability to participate due their 50% financial debts and one leadership differences or the other in such region. Kindly note that the electoral committee does not have the official right to decide on such matter, but we do kindly advise that any candidates of such can bring a letter or prove of surety from the general assembly signed by the caretaker committee as prove of recommendations.
